2009-2010 Season

Many thanks to all the captains that attended the paying in meeting on the 24th February.

It is intended that the FINAL PAYING IN MEETING of the season will be on WEDNESDAY 31ST MARCH 2010, when all final monies need to be paid.

Anyone who still has a perpetual trophy, please can you make arrangements to return this to Becky as soon as possible - Becky will be at the league indivuals at Warrens next Thursday (04/03/10) which will be the latest Becky requires the trophies by.

Its very quick and simple, you simply reply to a text sent, with your team's result, and hey presto!! The only charge is the same as any single standard text message. Are you interested? Paying in meeting on 6th September was cancelled - a date will be rearranged asap. As soon as I am advised of the new date, I will let you know.

Thanks to everyone who attended the Over 55's was held at the Prince of Orange on 24th September -
congratulations must go to Mike James, and Ian Cope, who are through to the finals.
Must say thank you to everyone who helped out - its one of my favourite competitions to attend - no arguing about chalking, no temper tantrums after losing , and good darts consistently thrown.

Draw for the Shield & Plate next rounds are online, under the competitions heading.

The next competition is the Pairs Competition, on 15th October 2009. Venue is Warrens Caravan Pk, same rules as normal, please be there no later than 8.20pm to register!

To all of you that enter your results direct into the website for me, can I remind you that in the stats, please do not add the 140's to the 100+ box. ie, if a player hits 3 x 140 + 1 x 125, you should enter 3 x 140+ & 1 x 100+  and not 3 x 140+ & 4 x 100+, as this in effect counts the 140s twice...

Well, the season has started, and the results are already coming in quickly, thanks peeps

All the cup match results are now in , so the draw for the 2nd Rd  Shield/1st Rd Plate will be made shortly. Can I remind all captains, we record on the stats page all tons hit in the singles games, all 180s, including competitions, any checks over 100, and any 18 or less darts legs, so if you want them on here please don't forget to jot them on the card - I am only too happy to add them.

Just to reiterate that as I have not yet received all the team sheets, and in order to ensure a level playing field, captains can sign players without notice until Wednesday 16th September only (the date of the first paying in meeting) - after that, the player must be signed on with me 24 hrs before playing. If any team does not supply a team list, only the players who have played in the matches on 3rd & 10th of September are registered players as far as I am concerned. Players will be updated on website as soon as possible. If you don't see a player on here, ring me, text me or email me - no excuse for not getting in touch! You are also welcome to text or ring match results through, am not worried if its late on match evening, trust me, I'll still be awake - and if not, my mobile will be on silent and you'll get the answer machine, so you wont disturb me, lol

Finally, any captains or players who are willing to update the website direct, please get in touch - its very simple, walkthrough instructions will be provided, and you can ensure all your details are always fully up to date.
